Meet Maddox Charles Amstutz!

Hello All!  I know it has already been two weeks since Maddox was born and I have not gotten any pictures of our little guy on the blog yet, but to my defense I did just have a baby:) and our home computer never seems to work!

I owe a big apology to my Fourth Grade Hoosiers:)  Sorry guys!  I will make it up to you now:)

Maddox was born at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012.  He was 6 lbs. and 13 oz., 18 3/4 inches long, has a full head of dark brown hair, & is a healthy little guy.  We are so blessed!

Waiting on Baby Maddox!

Well, it is almost time to meet Baby Maddox!  The girl's are ready too. I just dropped them off at G'ma Tana's & G'pa Dan's to spend the night.  We have an early morning:)  Luke & I feel so blessed to be full term and we cannot wait to meet him!  We are just praying for a safe delivery for baby and mama, as well as, a healthy little guy.

What a lucky little guy to have two sisters who love him so much already:)

Averi's Preschool...Day One

 Averi's Saint Mary's Preschool Bag!

Averi had her 1st day of Preschool today!  She was sooooooooooo ready to go.  She is one of those children who runs off into the classroom to play and start her school day and forgets to tell Mommy good-bye!  But do not worry...I chased her down and gave her a big kiss and hug and reassured her Alexxa and I would be back to pick her up...she was not worried:)

Averi is all ready for Preschool, completed projects and all!
Mommy made Averi pose for a 1st day of school picture...she did not oppose:)
Averi met up with her friend Jeremiah in the parking lot  on her way into the school.  They were both ready to go!
Averi's teacher Mrs. Taube sent this picture of Averi working on a craft with her new classmates during the day!  She looks like she is working hard and on task!  That makes Mommy very happy:)
In her folder, when I picked her up, we found a certificate letting us know that she had a GREAT 1st day of Preschool!

She was full of information when I picked her up.  I could tell that she loved it.  She said that her teacher read lots of books to them and one was about monsters going to school (appropriate I thought...lol).  They got to go to the play park.  She made some friends, but has no idea what their names are:) Oh wait, she knows two, Gaige and Wyatt...Yes, the two friends she just told me about are boys...should I be worried...lol.  I am sure Daddy will be:)
Anyways, I also got an email from the teacher letting me know she did well and that she could tell Averi loves working on crafts:)

Overall a great 1st day of Preschool for Averi Lynn!

Notre Dame Fans Forever!

Anybody who knows Luke...knows that he is a die hard Notre Dame, Fighting Irish fan!  Therefore, myself and the girls have also become serious Irish fans:)  I hate to see how crazy Maddox is going to be about Notre Dame Football...Ha!  He will most likely spend his Saturdays yelling about the cheating going on against ND Football and enjoying the highs of the wins ND brings...like his Daddy.

Well, Luke was at football practice during Notre Dame's 1st game of the 2012 season, due to them playing at 9:00 a.m. vs. Navy, in Dublin, Ireland!  So the girls and I got ourselves ready and sat down to watch the game!  It was a fun game to watch, ND played great and won easily:)  We took some pictures so we could send them to Daddy and feel like we were watching it with him.

Averi & Alexxa's 1st ND game this season...Here we go...

Until the next game...

Restrictions Lifted = Library & Park Visit

I have not been able to take the girls to do anything this summer due to being on "take it easy" orders from my doctor, but the restrictions have now been lifted since I am almost 38 weeks pregnant!  What a relief.  We actually have an end date in sight for Maddox Charles to be born!  It will be Thursday, September 13th, 2012 if he does not decide to come before:)

So, last week I took them to the park to play and then we went to the library.  It was wonderful...the girls and I had so much fun.  Averi ruled the park.  She climbed around like a little monkey.  Alexxa crawled all around on the cement and in the wood chips, but hated the nice soft grass...go figure:)  At the library they read books, worked on puzzles, and played with all the other fun toys there!

At the DuPont YMCA Park!
Seriously impossible to get a picture with them both looking!

At the DuPont Library!
I love when they enjoy playing with each other:)
