Averi's 1st Preschool Project

Averi starts Preschool September 4th!  She is very excited.  We visited her classroom and met her teachers last week and came home with some projects to complete.  We have been reading books and coloring in her Reading Log, filling out an "All About Me" book, & making a scarecrow for the hallway display outside her classroom!  For her scarecrow project we borrowed some supplies from Grandma Tana like buttons, fabric, yarn, tacky glue, etc.  Thanks Grandma Tana!
Averi is very proud of her girl scarecrow...with her stylish belt, button details, flower hat, and purse!

Football, Relaxing, & Playing

We have not been up to much lately...just waiting on Maddox Charles to get here!  Here are some pictures of what we
have been doing...
On our way to the East Noble Football Game!  Go Daddy's Knights!
Averi got her EN sweatshirt! She is ready to go!
Cuddling and watching some "Doc McStuffins" (one of the girls' favorite cartoons).
Until Alexxa got a little restless and decided to "pick" on her sister:)
We love our breakfast, lunch and dinner time!
Averi found my Rainbow Brite Doll that my mom made me for Christmas one year!  She played with her all day.  If you look beside the right eye on the doll you can see where I bit a hole in the head, due to being mad that very same Christmas morning I received her, over who knows what.  Yes, I had a bit of a temper when I was younger...sorry momma!
One day Averi had fun playing dress up with Daddy's clothes:)

Friday Knight Football!

Luke had his 1st football game as East Noble's head coach last night vs. Ft. Wayne Northrop...It went great:)  They won 40 to 7!  What a great start to the season...I am so proud of him and all the hard work he puts into his football program.  The weather was perfect too...jeans and sweatshirt weather....can't get any better than that!
The games are a blast!  If you cannot make it to EN on Friday nights, you can listen to the game on 95.5 The Hawk announced by Fred!  Also, on Saturday mornings at 11:00 Fred speaks with Luke and some of his players about the game the night before.  Check out www.eastnoblefootball.com to check out stats, schedules, and much more about EN Football.  As usual here are some pictures of last night...
Shay and  her Momma at the Football game.  A rare picture of Tana...everybody
knows that she hates getting her picture taken:)
Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Adam, and & Averi Lynn at the game!
Grandpa Dan & Alexxa Riley at her 1st football experience!  She was such a good girl
at the game...but in this picture she looks like she doesn't know what to think.
Touchdown Averi!

Family, Fun, & Fish!

On Sunday August 12th, 2012 we had another great Amstutz Fish Fry!  We all got to chat and catch up, while the kids played, and the adults shot clay pigeons:)  Well, some adults...  I would like to congratulate Mrs. Lindsay Martin for hitting her 1st and possibly only clay pigeon ever:)  Also, Grandpa Max and Grandma Sally had all of their 7 great grand daughters there at one time!  Alexxa and her cousin Hazel, from Alaska, who are only a few weeks apart in age finally got to meet.  Hazel had fun exploring Alexxa:) and Alexxa was not sure what to think!  Here are some pictures...

Trip to the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo with Daddy!

Luke took the girls to the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo one last time before school and football begin full force.  They had a lot of fun...but did not visit the goats!  Averi does not enjoy the goats because they ate Daddy's map the last time they went!
