Sam's Art Debut

My niece Samantha's art work was chosen to be displayed in the Ft. Wayne FAME Art Show this weekend! Her art was chosen by her Kindergarten Art teacher.  We decided to support her accomplishments by attending the Art Show with her!  We are so proud of her hard work and talent!  The show was really cool...there were cool arts and crafts booths to go along with all of the neat art work on display!

Hanging Out at Home

Averi loves playing with her play-doh!

Why is the laundry basket the most fun place to play in?  I can not figure it out but Averi and Alexxa love it!

Happy 2013!!!!

Happy New Years!!!!! It is 2013!!!!
Josh serving the kids their Sparkling Grape Juice.
So we went to Chicago for New Years to celebrate with the Browns, Schroeders, and Liebings.  We celebrate the kids New Years at like 8:00 pm! Uncle Josh is the Sparkling Grape Juice server as you can see. We have party hats, noise makers, and toast to a great new year!  The kids LOVE IT!

My Special Readers!

Read Across America Week
For Read Across America Week I had Luke come in and read a Dr. Seuss book to my students. He happened to be home with all three kiddos so they tagged along too!  Luke read Oh the Places You'll Go (my personal fav) and to my surprise Averi hopped in the reading chair and decided to read a Dr. Seuss book to my 4th graders also!  It was so cool.  She "read the pictures" to Horton Hatches the Egg.  They loved it.  She stopped to ask the students to make connections!  She asked my students as she was reading, "Have any of you been to a lake or circus before?" (Horton finds himself at a lake and circus at some point in the book, if you have not read it before).  Alexxa Riley walked around my students until she found one she liked and then plopped on her lap...it was super cute.  Of course, Maddox stole the show with his cuteness!

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!

The girls love playing in the snow with their Daddy! Averi cannot get enough of being outside in the snow playing and sledding. I was one of those kids who really wanted to go out to the snow and play, but once I was outside for 15 minutes I was cold and done...not Averi Lynn:)  In fact, my mom would say if I am going to get you all dressed and ready to go outside in the snow to play then you had better stay out there for a decent amount of time!  I understand why she said that now:) Alexxa Riley seemed to enjoy the snow also...her only challenge was standing up:)  She looked like Ralphie's brother from The Christmas Story! Here are a few pics...

So here is our sweet Alexxa Riley when it was time to come in:)  She was not happy needless to say, however, this fit is nothing a little lovey and snack couldn't fix.
Maddox was stuck inside with Mommy but he did not seem to mind!  He just decided to enjoy his play saucer. He is getting so big!

Amstutz Christmas 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and things have been busy, crazy since we went back to school on the 3rd.  I am sorry that I have not had time to post some of our Christmas pics yet:)  I am only doing it now due to being home with Alexxa because she has a nasty cough! So here are a few...
