Averi on the Turf

Averi got to go to football lifting this morning with Daddy.  She had so much fun...her favorite part was playing soccer and football on the big field.

We have hung out at home a lot this summer...

due to mommy being pregnant..

but we are still learning and having fun!

Averi loves reading the pictures of books and Alexxa enjoys hearing the stories.

Our little lefty is doing well with learning to use scissors.

We are working on counting...she can count to 13...then we skip to 18 for some reason:)  In this activity she had to count the flower petals and then place the correct number on the flower!

A Little Laptop Time

The girls were doing a little "work" on their laptops the other day.  It is impossible to get them both to take a second to smile for a picture at the same time:)  They love their 'media' as Averi calls it, like their daddy...HaHa!



When Alexxa Riley gets tired of working on her laptop she decides to be a little mischievous....at her sister expense:)  Watch out Averi Lynn!  To tell you the truth Alexxa is probably just getting her back for all the times

Gathering With Our Family From Texas!

Aunt Jesse, Uncle Raymond, & their good friend Michelle came to visit  us in Indiana.  It was wonderful having them here and the time went way too fast!  We all had a chance to get together, hang out, and catch up.  Thanks to our family photographer :) Aunt Linny, we have some great pictures!  Here they are...

Our Day with Aunt Lindsay!

The other day Averi and Alexxa got to spend the day with Aunt Lindsay.  (By the way, thank you so much Lindsay:)  She took them to the Mall to do a little playing on the carousel and shopping.  They also stopped for a little snack...yummy cake pops!  Then they got to visit and eat lunch with Grandma Heather at her work!  In the afternoon Alexxa snoozed at home and Averi got to spend the afternoon playing with Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Adam in the sprinklers and playing Beauty Parlor (I am pretty sure Uncle Adam sat this one out:)

Sunday Dinner on the Lake with the Bauer's

The Bauer's joined us at Hamilton Lake a few weeks ago for a little dinner and lake time.  It was wonderful getting to see them and Austin and Andy were great with Averi Lynn as they made sand castles and sand sharks :)  Alexxa Riley was feeling a bit under the weather but Lisa did get some cuddle time with her :) 

Averi, Austin, and Andy and their sand creations...just goes to show that you are never to old to play in the sand:)



How cool is the shark that Austin made!  I was a little embarrased as Averi later proceeded to stomp all of his hard work away in a second:)  Oh Averi...
